Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish and half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology student. The father of her was Argentine who had Scottish and English roots. She is Spanish with English roots. She was the first born of a clan of six children. Four of her siblings are from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. After being within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English with the intention of returning to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London, where she took ballet classes and took part in the drama department. In her 16th year, she quit school and pursued a career as an actress full time. From a young age Taylor-Joy had a dream to work as an actress. her dream came true when she was offered the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
