Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington, a Greek American businesswoman and syndicated journalist is an author. She was co-founder of The Huffington Post, is the CEO and founder of Thrive Global as well an author of fifteen novels. Arianna Huffington is a journalist, writer, journalist, TV host, and also the proprietor of The Huffington Post. After moving from Greece to England from Greece when she was 16 and obtaining an MA with a major in Economics from Cambridge University. The first ever foreign-born student to hold the position of president in the famous debate club The Cambridge Union, at age 21 she took over the position. After graduation she made her name as a conservative syndicated columnist and, with the launching of The Huffington Post' few years later, she developed a voice-based website that provided critical views on the political scenario. The fame of Arianna has led to the attraction of many well-known contributors for posting their thoughts on news, politics and culture. Arianna was famous when she decided to run as an Independent candidate in the California Recall Election in order to succeed former Governor Davis. Aside from that, Arianna led the Detroit initiative to promote fuel-efficient automobiles. Forbes listed her as one of the "most important woman" in the media industry with her ranking at the 12th spot. Guardian placed her on their list of the 100 most important media figures in 2009. AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post, and she was made the president of this group. The acquisition included a number of AOL properties of the time like Engadget AOL style list and Patch Media. Elli was the son of Konstantinos who was a management and journalism consultant. They were very close to her father. However, it was the relationship she had with her mother that has shaped her.
