Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, raised in Wellington) is a Canadian actress. Paquin, born in Winnipeg and raised by Wellington Paquin's acting debut was in the role of Flora McGrath. For this role she received an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress for The romantic drama The Piano at the young age of 11. The actress is second youngest winner in Oscar history. Anna Paquin's full name was Anna Helene Paquin. Born on the 24th of July, 1982 on the 24th of July 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was a Canadian native New Zealand actress. As an infant, she won an Academy Award for best support actress. The role she played as the talkative and inquisitive girl of Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) brought her the award. Paquin began her career when she was a kid, with the role of the Jane Eyre protagonist in the Franco Zeffirelli novel Jane Eyre as well as an important role on the film Fly Away Home. Paquin was a part-time actress in the 1997 TV movie adaption of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. Also, she played Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She was a teenager in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) and portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa as a character in Almost Famous (2000).
